Daniels - East Bayfront Development Proposal

The East Bayfront is one of the dynamic emerging new neighbourhoods on the Toronto waterfront. Anchored by two significant public parks, Sugar Beach and Sherbourne Common, a new campus of George Brown College and a combination of commercial and residential development and served by a new light rail line, it will make a significant statement about Toronto’s aspirations for this new frontier. Ken Greenberg is acting as urban design advisor to the Daniels Corporation and its design team as it undertakes a signature project in this unique setting. With a highly diverse program including a range of employment Uses: General Office, Recording Studio; animated by street level retail; a mix of housing opportunities for different tenures and a cluster of prominent cultural uses, and a significant expansion of the public realm this project will break new ground in enlivening this new neighbourhood.
